dc.description.abstractУ статті досліджено роль президента Білла Клінтона та його адміністрації у процесі врегулювання арабоізраїльського конфлікту 1993–2001 рр. Проаналізовано вектор зовнішньої політика США щодо конфлікту на Близькому Сході у цього періоду.Значну увагу приділено особистій ролі президента США Б. Клінтона в процесі врегулювання арабо-ізраїльського конфлікту, а саме трансформації ролі США упродовж каденції Б. Клінтона – від спостерігача, у 1993 р., до активного учасника мирного процесу у 1998–2001 рр. Досліджено думку американських дослідників та засобів масової інформації щодо політики Білого Дому за часів адміністрації президента Б. Клінтона. Досліджено результати процесу мирного врегулювання на Близькому Сході.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe article examines the role of President Bill Clinton and his administration in the process of settling the Arab-Israeli conflict in 1993–2001. The vector of US foreign policy regarding the conflict in the Middle East in 1993–2001 was analyzed. Considerable attention in the article is devoted to the personal role of President Bill Clinton in the process of settling the Arab-Israeli conflict, namely, the role of the USA changes during Bill Clinton’s tenure, from an observer in 1993 to an active participant in the peace process in 1998–2001. The opinion of American experts and mass media regarding the policy of the White House under President Clinton is indicated, as well as the results of the peace settlement process. The article also defines the content of President Bill Clinton’s plan for a peaceful settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict in 1993–2001. Special attention is paid to the distribution of the disputed Arab-Israeli territory. The approaches to the resolution of the Arab-Israeli conflict by the Israeli, Palestinian, Syrian and Jordanian parties and their attitude to the US policy during the tenure of Bill Clinton in 1993–2001 are reflected. The results of the activities of Bill Clinton and his administration regarding the settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict in 1993–2001 were analyzed, namely, it was noted that thanks to the personal position of the American president, for the first time in the last decades of the 20th century. The process of settling the Arab-Israeli conflict has moved from place to place.uk_UA
