dc.description.abstractУ статті подано зміст професійної підготовки магістрів із фізичної реабілітації (фізичної терапії) у вищих навчальних закладах Канади. Доведено тотожність вітчизняного визначення «фізична реабілітація» та міжнародного тлумачення «фізична терапія» (physical therapy). Визначено перелік вищих навчальних закладів Канади, які проводять підготовку магістрів у галузі фізичної терапії. Більш детально розкрито зміст професійної підготовки магістрів реабілітаційних наук, у тому числі й фізичної терапії в Університеті Альберта в Едмонтоні (University of Alberta), Королівського університету в Кінгстоні (Queen’s University), Університету Західного Онтаріо (University of Western Ontario). Показано, що перелік навчальних дисциплін у процесі підготовки магістра з фізичної терапії, кожний університет встановлює індивідуально.uk_UA
dc.description.abstractThe content of Masters’ of Physical Rehabilitation (physical therapy) vocational training at higher educational establishments in Canada is defined. The identity both of the domestic term «physical rehabilitation» and the international interpretation of the term «physical therapy» is proved. The list of higher education establishments in Canada which train Masters in the field of physical therapy is determined. The content of Masters of Rehabilitation Sciences vocational training, including Physical Therapy, at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, the Queen’s University in Kingston, the University of Western Ontario is reviewed in details. It is shown that every university sets the list of subjects individually. The main idea of the article is to analyse some aspects and content of professional training Masters in physical rehabilitation (physical therapy) at universities in Canada. The urgency of the problem is presented in the absence of a national literature research training masters of physical rehabilitation in Canada and the possibility of using the experience of Canadian universities in the training of future masters of physical rehabilitation in Ukraine. Science and education in modern conditions designed to prepare for the job market competitive specialist consciously and effectively in today’s society. Today it is particularly acute in the modernization of national curriculum for training in many specialties in accordance with international standards. No significant optimization needs a national system of professional training of future masters of physical rehabilitation with international experience, while taking into account national traditions. The presence of clear conditions for training masters in physical rehabilitation needs due to the improvement of the nation due to the deteriorating physical condition of the various sections of the population. We have actively studied and analysed foreign experience preparing individual rehabilitators (physiotherapists) a Master’s degree developed and approved in Canadian higher educational institutions that will serve the needs of the sphere of physical rehabilitation in Ukraine.uk_UA
