Abstract:	В статті розглядаються проблема формування духовних цінностей особистості. На основі вивчених джерел розкрито зміст понять «духовність», «духовний розвиток» та «духовно-моральне виховання». Обґрунтовано особливості розвитку духовних цінностей учнів під час викладання історії та використання їх в практиці вчителя загальноосвітньої школи. In the article deals with the development of spiritual values of the individual. Based on the sources studied, the contents of the concepts "spirituality", "spiritual development" and "spiritual and moral upbringing" are revealed. The specifics of the development of the spiritual values of students entering the teaching of history and their use in the practice of the teacher of the general education school are substantiated.
