Анотація
У статті розглянуто структурно-композиційні особливості дискурсивного розгортання наративу “Coronavirus Pandemic” в електронному новинному дискурсі. Новинний дискурс, будучи здатним формувати сучасну інформаційну картину світу та образ подій, має потужний потенціал впливу на масову аудиторію через конструйовані ним наративи. Наратив трактується як історія з її тематичною єдністю, дійовими особами, тимчасовими і просторовими межами, канвою певних подій. Об’єктом дослідження послугував наратив “Coronavirus Pandemic” у формі його дискурсивного розгортання на порталі BBC News, а предметом – його архітектоніка. Новинний наратив у контексті електронного формату оприлюднення новин визначається як структурований та систематизований гіпертекст-розгортання певної історії про дії суб’єктів у їх причинно-наслідковій послідовності, що визначена наратором як актуальна для аудиторії, відкрита для її множинних інтерпретацій та резонує з її основними цінностями.
Окреслено структуру та композиційні характеристики побудови наративу пандемії коронавірусу, спираючись на наукові категорії сучасної наратології: суперструктурну схему дискурсу новин, спосіб організації новинної інформації, точку фокалізації, комунікативність. Проведений наративний аналіз дискурсу новин «Coronavirus Pandemic» на матеріалі статей у відповідній рубриці на інформаційному порталі BBC News уможливив з’ясування домінуючого принципу організації інформації як мережевого. Проаналізовано відповідність наративу до встановлених стандартів комунікативності як можливості для читацької аудиторії реагувати на новинні повідомлення порталу через аккаунт BBC News у різних соціальних мережах та гіпертекстуальності як інструменту поширення, популяризації досліджуваного наративу. Встановлено такі композиційні компоненти даного наративу за суперструктурною схемою дискурсу новин, запропонованою ван Дейком Т. А.: «короткий зміст», «головна подія», «фон», «вербальні реакції». Доведено більшу ефективність змішаного типу точки фокалізації досліджуваного наративу як відношення наратора до оповіданого у порівнянні з внутрішнім та зовнішнім типами.
The purpose of the article is to outline intertextual links in the English cinematic discourse by establishing the types of allusions functioning in the cinematic discourse of “The Matrix”. The article deals with the structural and compositional features of the discursive unfolding of the "Coronavirus Pandemic" narrative in the electronic news discourse. News discourse being able to form a modern informational picture of the world and the image of events has a powerful potential for the influence on the mass audience through the constructed narratives. The narrative is interpreted as a story with its thematic unity, characters, temporary and spatial boundaries, and the background. The object of the study is the "Coronavirus Pandemic" narrative in the form of its discursive unfolding on the BBC News portal, and the subject is its architectonics. News narrative in the context of the electronic format of the news publication is defined as a structured and systematized hypertext narration of a certain story about the subjects’ actions in their causal sequence. The narrator construes such a narration as relevant to the audience, open to the latter’s multiple interpretations and resonating with its fundamental values. The structure and compositional characteristics of the coronavirus pandemic narrative construction have been determined drawing on the scientific categories of the modern narratology: the superstructural scheme of news discourse, the way of organizing news information, the point of focalization, and communicativity. A narrative analysis of the Coronavirus Pandemic news discourse based on articles posted in the corresponding column on the BBC News information portal has enabled us to define the dominant principle of organizing information there as a network one. The article analyzes the conformity of the narrative in question with the accepted standards of communicativity as an opportunity for the readership to react to the portal's news messages through the BBC News account in various social media and hypertextuality as a tool for disseminating and popularizing the studied narrative. The following compositional components of this narrative have been established according to the superstructural scheme of news discourse proposed by Teun A. van Dijk: "the lead", "the main event", "the background", "verbal reactions". It has been proven that the mixed type of the point of focalization in the investigated narrative is more effective as the narrator's attitude to stories in comparison with the internal and external types.
