Національно-патріотичне виховання учнів на уроках історії України в загальноосвітній школі

У статті висвітлено та проаналізовано основні особливості та перспективи запровадження національно-патріотичного виховання на уроках історії України. На основі досліджених джерел розглянуто основні аспекти його застосування. Обґрунтовано необхідність запровадження національно-патріотичного виховання на уроках історії України в загальноосвітній школі.
An analysis of the research on this topic gives us an opportunity to make sure that the issue of national-patriotic education has become relevant not only at the current stage of development of the Ukrainian nation. The modern school should be progressive in its activities and provide patriotic education as one of the principles of the formation of a fully developed personality that is able to live effectively, interact and give the benefit for the society. The main task of patriotic education is citizens, patriots of their country, capable of civilized protection and protection not only of their rights but also of their state; to promote the development and elevation of their country and nation. The lessons of Ukrainian history give teachers a significant potential and prospect of full disclosure of national-patriotic education as they have a significant number of examples of heroism, patriotism, loyalty to their people, and show an example of the worthy behavior of true patriots of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in the struggle for their freedom and rights during whole history. The national patriotic education of students in history lessons should begin with the study of propaedeutic course. This is facilitated by many topics from the historical past of the Ukrainian people. It is advisable to pay attention to practical lessons related to local lore material. In the history lessons students gain an invaluable experience of historical events that have taken place in the past, but are relevant or similar to modern processes in society, which ensures the formation of a clear civic attitude and beliefs. On examples of life, activity and struggle for the state of the prominent representatives of the Ukrainian people - B. Khmelnitsky, I. Mazepa, P. Orlyk, T. Shevchenko, V. Vinnichenko, M. Hrushevsky and many others, we demonstrate the national dignity of the people and their aspiration to have their own state. The lessons of history make it possible to fully implement the principles of national-patriotic education and to form students the necessary principles and priorities that form the basis for the further formation of universal values, moral qualities, dignity, justice, civil and national consciousness, tolerance, and provide the opportunity to create a generation of true patriots , which have common interests in the development of Ukraine and direct their activities towards the development, protection and preservation of integrity, freedom and independence of their country.
