Анотація
У статті розглянуто провідні тенденції розвитку національної культури в умовах євроінтеграції наприкінці ХХ ст., досліджено характер, динаміку та інтенсивність впливу глобалізації на культурні процеси в Україні. Основна увага приділяється проблемам переходу українського соціуму до нових умов розвитку культури в умовах посттоталітарного суспільства, що сприяло формуванню нових підходів щодо сприйняття феномену культури у суспільній та індивідуальній свідомості, змінам основних підходів до управління у галузі культури. Схарактеризовані основні напрями та стан міжнародного співробітництва України у культурно-мистецькій сфері.
The article considers the main tendencies of development of national culture in the conditions of European integration at the end of the twentieth century, investigates the nature, dynamics and intensity of the impact of globalization on cultural processes in Ukraine. The cultural factor was the major prerequisite for the progress of the European integration, as well as ensured the foundation for cultural, economic, social and political convergence of the European nations, and exerted its influence on deepening of the integration processes, which, in effect, plays the role of the tool for forging the sense of cohesion among Europeans. Nowadays the culture has not only become additional dimension of the European integration but also developed into one of the determinative factors of the European integration, the tool and the solution of the economic and political problems and a potential alternative in deciding on further European development. The main attention is paid to the problems of transition of Ukrainian society to new conditions of development of culture in the conditions of post-totalitarian society, which contributed to the formation of new approaches to the perception of the phenomenon of culture in public and individual consciousness, changes in the basic approaches to management in the field of culture. The first steps of Ukraine in the process of European integration are caused by important changes in state policy at national and local levels, and also concerned various spheres of society. In the cultural sector of Ukraine in the late twentieth century there was a revival of cooperation with the EU, which aimed not only at fostering cultural exchanges and dialogue, but also at changing the system and approaches to governance in this area, which were based on the principles of democracy, recognition of cultural rights and freedoms. During the last decades of the twentieth century Ukraine's cultural policy was intensively adapting to the new realities of artistic life, which required attention to the innovative projects with which the country linked the further development of national culture. The main directions and state of international cooperation of Ukraine in the cultural and artistic sphere are characterized. It is revealed that European integration has become a powerful prerequisite for the development of transformations in the national cultures of many countries, has had a powerful influence on the dynamics of cultural processes, and has become an instrument of strengthening social consolidation through the support of pan-European cultural values. The author’s principal conclusion is that the cultural factor plays the important role in the process of the European integration.
