dc.description.abstractIn the light of social, pedagogical, professional and personal dimensions that are reflected in the O.Kucheriavyi’s textbook «Pedagogy: personality developmental aspects», in the article attention is focused on the requirements and characteristics of the teacher profession at the beginning of twenty-first century. Methodologically profound scientific and educational work is based on the theory of problem-based learning and focused on the teacher, who implements educational and developmental pedagogical technology, which contributes to the development of the student’s individuality. As a result of this work it is creating personally professional «self-conception», commitment to professional self-development and fulfillment. All sections, paragraphs are imbued with the ideas of teacher professional growth stimulating teacher's personality and development of the student’s individuality, his consciousness, awareness, readiness for self-education. A holistic approach in the unity with personality oriented makes educational content, learning process and the educational type, structure and content of modern Ukrainian education and other educational categories. It is proved that today it is not enough to be a professional who is able to perform only specific manufacturing operations, to act according to instructions. The teacher must be a person who has assumed responsibility for social development and happy children life. He must be a humanist and moral mentor, who systematically and consistently participate them to spiritual, moral and other values, creates conditions for the development of self-worth student’s individuality. He has skills of self-educational activities, provides professional development, self-development and self-realization.uk_UA
