Анотація
У статті розглядаються актуальні питання ролі та призначення мистецької освіти в процесі розбудови сучасного суспільства. Використовуючи культурфілософські й культурологічні методологічні принципи, автор акцентує увагу на тих функціях мистецької освіти, які окреслюють сьогодні стратегічні напрями осмислення вирішального значення залучення особистості до мистецтва як визначального чинника впливу на духовний світ людини й ефективності педагогіки мистецтва в процесі духовного оновлення суспільства.
The article discusses current issues of the role and purpose of art education in development of modern society. Using cultural-philosophical and cultural methodological principles, the author outlines and analyzes the functions of art education, which determine its effectiveness in the process of spiritual renewal of the society, which became the purpose of the article. Attention is focused on the functions of art education, which today outline strategic directions for understanding the crucial importance of attracting a person to art as a determining factor in influencing the spiritual world of a person and effectiveness of art pedagogy in the process of spiritual renewal of society. In particular, the educational function of art is analyzed in detail in the unity of the diverse aspects of education by means of art – aesthetic, artistic, moral. Paying attention to the fundamental multifunctionality of art education, the interconnection and complexity of its influence on the formation of a person’s spirituality, the author also highlights the information-cognitive and communicative functions of art education, as well as the function of socialization. The main place is given to the human-creating or humanizing function, which collects all the previous ones from a single angle – art education acts as a means and cultural space for the development of human qualities inherent in a spiritually formed personality. The work emphasizes that none of the listed functions works without connecting the emotive function as immanent for art and education by means of art. Just this function reveals the nature of artistic activity and explains the reason for the effectiveness of art pedagogy. Therefore, the author concludes that effectiveness of the influence of art education on the formation of spirituality of a person, and, accordingly, on the spiritual development of society is directly dependent on the emotive content of the educational process, which should become the subject of more in-depth research in the future.
