Гюбріс і влада: порочне коло

Abstract

У статті висловлюється теза про те, що надмірне прагнення людини до влади є одним з проявів гюбрісу. Водночас історико-антропологічна фактографія свідчить, що влада також провокує розвиток гюбрістичного світовідношення. Проаналізовано соціологічні, психопатологічні, філософські праці, в яких розглядається природа прагнення людини до влади і вплив влади на людину. Робиться висновок про те, що потрібен пошук стратегій обмеження гюбрісу особистостей, що отримують владні повноваження.

The article suggests the idea that excessive human desire for power is one of the manifestations of hubris. At the same time historical and anthropological factography indicates that power also provokes hubristic attitude to the world. The article analyzes the sociological, psychiatric, philosophical writings, which examines the nature of the human desire for power and influence of power per person. The conclusion is that we should seek strategies to control hubris of individuals receiving authority.
