    The US Students’ Professionalism Formation

    This article deals with pedagogical approaches to the formation of the US students’ professionalism, highlights approaches to the formation of students’ professionalism of Guy Strickland and Janell Cox; each approach to the formation of the students’ professionalism at Higher Learning Institutions of the United States is analyzed. Following to the principle of historicism, we briefly analyzed the facts that were the impetus to the formation of the students’ professionalism in the United States. In historical consideration, higher education in the United States has certain characteristics, namely, that the type of higher education in the United States has become a general higher education institution, which had a long path of formation. In particular, the method of comparative analysis was used to study approaches to the formation of professionalism of US students and to identify common and different approaches to the formation of students’ professionalism at higher education institutions of Ukraine and the USA.
