Статтю присвячено сучасним проблемам підготовки педагогічних кадрів у вищих навчальних закладах, вирішення яких безпосередньо пов’язане з якісним оновленням системи навчання. Автор акцентує увагу на інноваціях у навчанні, окреслює їх роль у процесі підготовки сучасного фахівця, розглядає інноваційні підходи до організації самостійної роботи студентів-філологів. На основі аналізу дидактичної й психологічної літератури висвітлює їх значення для підвищення ефективності професійної підготовки, формування й розвитку тих якостей особистості, які забезпечують становлення фахових компетентностей майбутніх учителів-словесників.
The article is devoted to the questions of organization of students-philologists’ independent work. The new approaches to the process of the future Ukrainian teachers’ training (personality-oriented, action, cognitive and communicative, competence approaches) are presented in the article. According to the personality-oriented approach, a student as an integrative personality with the certain qualities and characteristics is in the centre of teaching process in higher educational institutions. The main thing in the future teachers’ training is to provide necessary conditions for developing and forming the professional qualities of student’s personality. Action approach is based on understanding the teaching as one of the types of man’s activity that has influence on the student’s psyche and forms some personal qualities. According to this approach, a student becomes a subject of teaching and the active participant as well. The result of educational activity depends on him. In the frames of cognitive and communicative approach, knowledge is the basis of developing student’s personality and behaviour. This approach is grounded on the «concept» notion that is a substantial part of word mark which reflects person’s motives and aspirations. The acquirement of the concept is to master the language units as a means of cognition and reflection of the environment. Therefore, during the independent work, the cognitive processes in the student’s mind are paid great attention. Competence approach is directed at forming the future teachers’ basic competence during the training period. A student must not only study and acquire linguistic information but also will learn to use it rationally in different situations of professional communication. On the basis of scientific literature analysis, the conclusion is drawn about the importance of these approaches and necessity of their usage in the process of students-philologists’ teaching.
