На підставі аналізу теоретико-методологічних засад підготовки фахівців вокального мистецтва в системі вищої музичної освіти Китаю виокремлено методологічні підходи: академічний; особистісно орієнтований; культурологічний. Доведено, що важливими концептуальними ідеями, ѐкі покладено в основу професійної підготовки вокалістів у системі вищої музичної освіти Китаю, є: опора на національні виконавські й педагогічні традиції в поєднанні із запозиченням досвіду інших країн у цій сфері та максимальне використання можливостей культурного середовища в процесі підготовки вокалістів.The article clarifies the methodological approaches to the vocal art specialists training in the system of higher music education in China. Based on the analysis of theoretical and methodological principles of vocal art specialists training in the system of higher music education in China, methodological approaches are distinguished: academic; personalitycentered; culturological. The main problems of Chinese music institutions of higher education in the formation of teaching staff have been identified, namely: separation of education from performing practice. The current generation of singers learn from teachers who have very limited personal experience of opera or concert activities; modern training of singers in the People’s Republic of China began later than in Europe. The majority of vocal teachers are specialists in other subjects. They do not have a thorough scientific knowledge of vocals, vocal activity, physiological and psychological components of vocal art; some disciplines are very poorly provided with highly qualified teaching staff. In particular, there is a shortage of teachers who teach vocal basic subjects, such as: history of vocal art or vocal technique. It is also significant that the Ministry of Education of China evaluates the effectiveness of higher education music institutions on formal indicators, namely: curricula, dissertations and employment rates of graduates, while the direct content of curricula, the level of knowledge and skills of students remains outside of monitoring. It is proved that the important conceptual ideas that underlie the vocalists professional training in the system of higher music education in China are reliance on national performing and pedagogical traditions in the process of training vocalists in combination with borrowing the experience of other countries in this field; maximum use of cultural opportunities in the process of vocalists professional training, which makes it possible to train them taking into account the cultural context and highlight the general and national-specific in ways of sound production, manner of performance, aesthetically appropriate ways of emotional self-expression, create and present culturally appropriate interpretation of vocal works.
