The essence of such fundamental concepts as "culture", "interculturalism", "intercultural education" is clarified. It is determined that culture is a system of knowledge shared by a relatively large group of people; communication; cultivated behavior; a collection of a person learned by a person, which is socially transmitted; The way of life of a group of people, behavior, beliefs, values and symbols they accept, as a rule, without thinking about them, and which are transmitted by communication and imitation from one generation to the next; symbolic communication; collective programming of the mind that distinguishes members of one group or category of people from another.
