Визначено й описано основні особливості організації теологічного навчання в університетах Федеративної Республіки Німеччини. Наведено маловідомі документи, що визначають зміст теологічної освіти в Німеччині з урахуванням релігійних особливостей різних конфесій. Описаний курикулум теологічного факультету. Визначено завдання викладання теології в університетах Німеччини. На нашу думку, дослідження організаційних та педагогічних особливостей діяльності німецьких теологічних факультетів допомагає використовувати їх елементи у практичній діяльності закладів освіти України. Результати дослідження допомагають визначити окремі практичні рекомендації на майбутнє.The modern European educational field includes many components that together provide formation of the life competences, necessary for a person to solve urgent problems of social and professional activities. European education has traditionally contained matters of religious education and upbringing, which are implemented in various ways, specifically through theological education. The peculiarities of the modern Europeans mentality are awareness of religious education, knowledge of the foundations of their own religious tradition as an element of self-identification, as well as pluralism, tolerance, and respect for a representative of another cultural and historical identity. The theological education is a direction of pedagogy, that is mainly implemented into the communicative tasks. Also, due to the level of its success, we can assume it regarding the progress of the theological education system itself. These considerations reflect the leading aspects of the system of interaction between the state, school, religion, the society wherein the European system of theological education operates. Thus, there is a necessity for highly qualified theologians. Nowadays, theological education is a specific field of German university educational activities. It reflects the confessional structure and religious composition of the country’s population. The research focuses on the organizational and content foundations of theological education in German universities. The main features of theology studies organization at universities in the Federal Republic of Germany are defined and described. There are named little-known documents, which determine the content of theological education in Germany taking into account the religious characteristics of different faiths. The curriculum of theological faculty is described and the tasks of teaching theology at the German Universities are defined. In our opinion, the research of organizational and pedagogical characteristics of German theological faculties’ activities helps to use their elements in the practical activities for Ukrainian education institutions.
