The purpose of the article was to characterize the estates of the Cossack-senior family of Solonyn in the second half of the 17th - 18th centuries. in the context of family relationships and official duties.The research methods are based on the principles of historicism and objectivity; they are represented by general scientific methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization and systematization, as well as special historical methods – historical-comparative and historical- genetic.Scientific novelty. The article presents systematized data on the estates of the Cossack- senior family of Solonyn in the second half of the 17th - the end of the 18th centuries. in the context of changes in its personnel composition, military service and socio-political activity.Conclusions. It is substantiated that the Solonyn family in the second half of the 17th-18th centuries belonged to a significant military society, government and non-government foremen of the Hetmanate. Its representatives were in military and civil service, were engaged in political and public activities. All this allowed them to maintain and increase their own economic power. It was found that during their tenure in government positions in the Kyiv Regiment they owned rank estates, in addition, they also had significant family estates, the foundation of which was laid by the Kyiv colonel Konstantin Dmytrovych Solonyna. A detailed examination and description of the Solonyn family’s estates in the context of changes in its personal composition and their career achievements during the second half of the 17th-18th centuries was carried out.Актуальність статті зумовлена недостатньою дослідженістю процесу формування рангових і спадкових маєтностей як козацько-старшинського роду Солонин зокрема, так і загалом володінь значного військового товариства, урядової та неурядової старшини козацької держави Гетьманщини. Мета статті – характеристика маєтностей козацько-старшинського роду Солонин у другій половині 17–18 ст. у контексті родинних взаємозв’язків і посадових обов’язків. Методи дослідження ґрунтуються на принципах історизму та обʼєктивності; вони представлені загальнонауковими методами аналізу, синтезу, узагальнення й систематизації, а також спеціальноісторичними методами – історико-порівняльними й історико- генетичними. Наукова новизна. У статті подано систематизовані дані щодо маєтностей козацько- старшинського роду Солонин у другій половині 17 – наприкінці 18 ст. у контексті змін його персонального складу, військової служби й суспільно-політичної діяльності. Висновки. Встановлено, що рід Солонин у другій половині 17–18 ст. належав до значного військового товариства, урядової та неурядової старшини Гетьманщини. Його представники перебували на військовій і цивільній службі, займалися суспільно- політичною діяльністю. Усі ці обставини давали їм змогу отримувати різноманітні маєтності, зберігати і примножувати власну економічну могутність. З’ясовано, що під час перебування на урядових посадах у Київському полку вони володіли ранговими маєтностями,. Окрім того, у них були й значні родинні маєтності, основа яких була закладена київським полковником Костянтином Дмитровичем Солониною.
