Проанализированы пути реализации указанного направления обучения при освоении дисциплин, освещающих теорию, строй, историю, употребление языка. Отмечены некоторые особенности формирования обозначенного вида компетенции студентов-инофонов, изучающих русский язык в вузах Украины. Сделан вывод о разном характере отражения культуроведческого потенциала в содержании лингвистических дисциплин.The purpose of the article is to describe the main areas of work that contribute to the formation of the culture study competence of foreign students in the process of mastering educational disciplines that are built in accordance with the requirements of the systemsstructural paradigm in linguistics and form the basis of the linguistic part of the educational and professional bachelor-philologist training program. In order to achieve this goal, the following research methods were used: theoretical analysis of the literature on the topic, generalization of methodological experience, descriptive method. The article concludes that these university linguistic disciplines have sufficient potential for the formation of students’ culture study competence. The main ways to implement this area of study are as follows: the use of texts with a national-cultural (including regional) content component and nationally marked nominative units as illustrative and didactic material; analysis and argumentation of statements about the language being studied; fulfillment of tasks of linguocultural character; the use of modern lexicographic publications related to the category of anthropocentric; systemic comparisons of the language being studied with related languages and with the native language of foreign students; linguistic and linguoculturological analysis of the text; awareness of theoretical principles regarding the concept of unity of language and culture. The necessary connections are established between disciplines that study theory, system, history, and the use of language. The analyzed training courses in the aspect of the problems discussed are divided into two groups: disciplines, the cultural potential of which is inherent in their content, and disciplines requiring the use of additional illustrative and didactic material. Some features of the formation of the indicated type of competence of foreign students studying the Russian language at Ukrainian universities are noted.
