Голдінга «Володар Мух» з урахуванням авторської рецепції взаємодії демократичних та антидемократичних політичних режимів ХХ століття. Дослідниця з’ясувала причини тотальної зневіри письменника в можливостях європейської демократії ефективно протистояти антигуманним ідеологіям, спрямованим на нівеляцію проявів людської особистості, та акцентувала виняткову роль твору В. Голдінга, що сьогодні сприймається як засторога людству проти помилок минулого.This article analyzes the novel “Lord of Flies” by W. Golding taking into account the author's reception of the interaction of democratic and anti-democratic political regimes of the twentieth century. The researcher found the reasons for the writer's total contempt for European democracy to effectively counteract anti-human ideologies, which aimed at leveling manifestations of the human person. Author of the article emphasized the exceptional role of the work of W.
