Визначено роль та місце комп’ютерного дизайну в інформатичній підготовці учнів профільної школи. Розроблено та науково-обґрунтовано структуру та зміст цього курсу. Розкрито важливість розробки й упровадження факультативних курсів у навчальний процес для учнів профільної школи. Висвітлено основні завдання інформатизації освітнього процесу, серед яких створення сприятливих умов для учнів, реалізації їхнього інтелектуального потенціалу за рахунок упровадження в навчальний процес інформаційно-комунікаційних та педагогічних технологій з використанням принципів комп’ютерного дизайну.The article is devoted to the development and implementation of an optional course on the basics of computer design for students of specialized schools. The role and place of computer design in the computer training of students of the specialized school are determined. The structure and content of this course have been developed and scientifically substantiated. The importance of development and implementation of optional courses in the educational process for students of the specialized school is revealed.The main tasks of informatization of the educational process, including creation of favorable conditions for students, realization of their intellectual potential through introduction of information and communication and pedagogical technologies using the principles of computer design are highlighted. It is concluded that before studying the course “Fundamentals of Computer Design” the dynamics of student activity was quite low, and the level of knowledge – average. However, during the study and at the end of the course students became more interested in computer design, with pleasure created their own design elements using digital technologies and online environments, it was noticeable that the level of motivation for self-education increased, and thus increased knowledge of students.
