Означену підготовку доцільно розглядати з позицій психології, педагогіки та музичного мистецтва.Саморозвиток та самореалізація їх творчого потенціалу є необхідними умовами досягнення акме‐рівня досконалості виконавської майстерності вокалістів.The article focuses on the importance of training student vocalists for self‐ improvement of the performing apparatus even during their studies in higher education institutions. This is due to the fact that highly qualified specialists of higher education institutions are engaged in the staging of the vocalists' performance apparatus, and upon completion of their studies, they (vocalists) "lose" the opportunity to receive such "educational services". Emphasis is placed on the need for continuous improvement of the performing apparatus of university graduate vocalists, since the vocal cords cannot work statically in an organism that is constantly changing psychologically and physiologically. Achieving the goal required the creative application of theoretical methods that would make it possible to use the psychological‐pedagogical toolkit for studying the specifics of the given phenomenon, namely: analysis of scientific literature; modeling the starting points of psychological and pedagogical studies of the concept of "self" in the process of improving the executive apparatus of vocal students; study of best practices in improving the performing apparatus of vocal students, etc. Special attention is paid to the starting points of scientific works, which investigated the problem of self‐development of the professional qualities of an individual from the standpoint of acmeology. It is advisable to consider the preparation of student vocalists for self‐improvement of the performing apparatus from the standpoint of psychology, pedagogy, and musical art, because self‐development and self‐realization of their creative potential are necessary conditions for achieving the acme level of excellence in the performance skills of vocalists. The concept of "preparation", which in the theory and methodology of music education is considered in terms of readiness and preparedness, is generalized. The self‐improvement of the performing apparatus of vocal students is divided into stages, where each stage is assigned a certain role in the specified process.
