Указано на їх взаємозумовленість. Конкретизовано поняття підготовки бакалаврів до формування аудіальної культури школярів як процесу та підготовленості до цього як результату. Показано логіку розробки діагностичного інструментарію в педагогічних дослідженнях та представлено критерії й показники для оцінювання підготовленості бакалаврів музичного мистецтва до формування аудіальної культури школярів. Пропонований критеріальний апарат відповідає компонентній структурі досліджуваного феномена. Представлено методи, завдання та шкала їх оцінювання відповідно до чотирьох рівнів підготовленості бакалаврів музичного мистецтва до формування аудіальної культури школярів: високий, достатній, середній, низький. Подаються математичні результати констатувального експерименту.The article actualizes the problem of pedagogical diagnostics in accordance with such phenomena as preparation and training in the development of a specialist. It is indicated that these phenomena are interrelated and the processes of their pedagogical diagnostics in a certain sense coincide. So, in the case of training, the process and its quality are investigated, and in the case of preparedness - the result, i.e. the qualities of specialists. The essence of the preparation of bachelors to the formation of the audial culture of schoolchildren as a process and preparedness for it, as a result, are specified. A component model of such preparedness is presented; it consists of test-identification, associative-figurative, auditory- motivational, and technology-productive components. The logic of development of diagnostic tools in pedagogical research is shown and the criteria and indicators for assessing the readiness of bachelors of musical art for the formation of the audial culture of schoolchildren are presented. The proposed criteria apparatus corresponds to the component structure of the phenomenon under study. The diagnostics was carried out on the basis of cognitive, reflexive, motivational and activity criteria. For each criterion, two indicators were developed, which corresponded to the elements of the main components of the studied phenomenon. The mathematical results of the ascertaining experiment are presented. Due to the 4- point grading scale and specially developed methods (questionnaires and sound questionnaires, a sound colloquium, sound comparisons, sound listening, etc.), the following levels and their quantitative characteristics are defined: high - "creative" (8,3 %), sufficient - "competence-based" (21,7 %), medium - "unordered" (38,3 %), low - "indifferent" (31,7 %) levels of preparedness of bachelors for the formation of pupils' audial culture. The corresponding quantitative distribution revealed problems in the traditional method of preparing bachelors of musical art for the formation of the schoolchildren's audial culture.
