Проаналізовано її стан у сучасних умовах розвитку освітньої діяльності на прикладах навчальних закладів різного рівня акредитації: музичні школи, музичні училища, виші. Визначено осередки пропаганди естрадно-джазової освіти: профільні журнали, радіо - і телепередачі, концерти, фестивалі й конкурси, мережі магазинів із наявністю асортименту джазової музики, енциклопедичні видання тощо.The article highlights peculiarities of the national pop-jazz education. The article analyzes its condition in the current conditions of educational activity development on examples of education institutions of different levels of accreditation: musical schools, musical colleges, universities. The centers of propaganda of pop-jazz education have been identified: profile magazines, radio and TV shows, concerts, festivals and contests, chain stores with a range of jazz music, encyclopedias, etc. The process of distinguishing pop-jazz profile in Ukrainian music pedagogy and its development are connected, first of all, with emergence of the respective state education institutions and sections of pop-jazz direction: a) opening of pop divisions in separate musical schools; b) sections of pop-jazz performances in musical colleges; c) introduction into the programs of musical academies of optional courses related to jazz art; d) creation of appropriate chairs (“Musical art of pop and jazz”, “Pop singing”, etc.) in a number of higher musical establishments of Ukraine. The analysis of condition of the pop-jazz education in Ukraine has revealed a number of centers for pop-jazz art promotion: appearance of specialized journals, radio and TV shows, concerts, chain stores with jazz music offers, encyclopedias, etc. In Ukraine, a powerful jazz festival movement is taking place, in which a special place belongs to children’s and youthful jazz festivals, and so on.
