Виокремлено та cхарактеризовано складові професійної компетентності майбутніх фахівців залізничного транспорту (математична, інформаційна, гуманітарна, комунікативна, діяльнісна, ціннісно-мотиваційна, рефлексивно-самооцінювальна). З’ясовано місце та роль математичної складової професійної компетентності майбутніх фахівців залізничного транспорту в системі неперервної професійної освіти.The article reveals the essence of professional competence of future railway transport specialists. The components of professional competence of future railway transport specialists (mathematical, informational, humanitarian, communicative, activity, valuemotivational, reflexive-self-assessment) are singled out and characterized. The place and role of the mathematical component of professional competence of future railway transport specialists in the system of lifelong professional education are clarified. The purpose of the article: to identify and study the components of professional competence of future railway transport specialists, as well as to clarify the place and role of mathematical component of professional competence in the system of lifelong professional education. Research methods: comparative analysis, synthesis, systematization, generalization. The interpretation of “professional competence” by different authors, as well as in regulations is analyzed. Mathematical preparation of future railway transport specialists in the college is described. The tasks that need to be solved with the help of mathematical cycle disciplines in the training of future railway transport specialists are identified. The skills that should be formed in college students while studying mathematical disciplines are highlighted. The levels at which it is necessary to organize the cooperation of subjects and objects of the educational process in order to form professional competence in future professionals are studied. Competences are analyzed in accordance with the educational and qualification characteristics of future railway transport specialists, which should be formed during the study of mathematical cycle disciplines.
