Інноваційна культура керівника закладу загальної середньої освіти розглядається як структурована, взаємопов’язана, взаємообумовлена та взаємодоповнююча сукупність компонентів, які забезпечують високий рівень готовності до сприйняття та реалізації інновацій у процесі професійної діяльності. Ми дійшли висновку, що підготовка майбутніх керівників закладів загальної середньої освіти в магістратурі перетворюється на процес нарощування та якісного зростання їх інноваційної культури, інтегративних якостей особистості, що є результатом синтезу професійно‐теоретичної підготовки, практичного управлінського досвіду та активної соціально‐педагогічної позиції.The purpose of the article was to highlight the content of the innovative culture of the head of a general secondary education institution, to justify the importance of the problem of its formation, to determine the features of the development of the innovative culture of the future head during master's training. Such research methods as analysis, comparison, systematization have been used, thanks to which the essence of innovative culture, its structure and content were revealed; synthesis, generalization ‐ to determine the specifics of the development of the future manager's culture during master'straining. The innovative culture of the head of the institution of general secondary education is considered as a structured, interconnected, mutually conditioned and complementary set of components that ensure a high level of readiness for the perception and implementation of innovations in the process of professional activity. The system of developing the innovative culture of the future head of a general secondary education institution in the process of master's training includes such components as: theoretical and methodological block (purpose, tasks, methodological approaches, principles, factors of the development of the innovative culture of the head, functions and structural components of the innovative culture of the head); constructive and methodical block (content, stages, forms, methods, technologies for the development of the leader's innovative culture); control and assessment block (diagnosis of the level of development of innovative culture, criteria, levels of its development and introduction of necessary corrections in the process of obtaining results) and pedagogical conditions. The training of future managers of general secondary education institutions in the master's degree turns into a process of building up and qualitative growth of their innovative culture, integrative personality qualities, which is the result of a synthesis of professional and theoretical training, practical managerial experience and an active socio‐pedagogical position.
