Також наведено критерії її оцінки, рівні сформованості й підходи, що сприяють удосконалюванню методичної компетенції майбутнього вчителя музики у процесі навчання в класі основного музичного інструменту (фортепіано).The future music teacher’s methodological competence is a systemic personal education that manifests itself in the ability of students to organize and implement the process of musical education of schoolchildren at the level of contemporary artistic and educational requirements and is associated with the choice of teaching techniques, means, forms and methods of pedagogical influence. The specificity of the methodological competence of the music teacher lies in the multidimensional nature of his methodological activity: the ability and skills to get interesting material, which complements the main school program repertoire of listening to music, theoretical knowledge of the step-by-step method, independent learning and performance of musical works at the proper professional level; overcoming technical difficulties; sketch comprehending of musical compositions in a short time; theoretical and methodological knowledge of the singularities of performing the accompaniment to children’s vocal, choral and instrumental works, the method of transferring textual and harmonic features to another tonality; simplifying the musical material by eliminating secondary elements of melody and harmony. The main criteria for the level of formation of the methodological competence of the future music teachers are: motivational-target, informative-methodological, operative-modeling, system-activity.
