| Abstract: | This study focuses on the history of the names of the residents of Sumy in the context of its appearance and subse-quent settlement. The analysis of katoikonyms is based on the testimonies of written monuments and other materials of the pre-Soviet period. Це дослідження зосереджується на історії імен жителів Сум у контексті їх появи та наступного поселення. Аналіз катойконімів базується на свідченнях письмових пам'яток та інших матеріалів дорадянського періоду. |
