Сучасний екологічний стан міста Ковеля

Abstract

Стаття присвячена аналізу екологічних проблем сьогодення міста Ковеля. Розвиток промисловості, недосконалість транспортних засобів, надмірне ущільнення забудови, нераціональне використання природних ресурсів, а на сучасному етапі – незначне фінансування природоохоронних програм, створили погіршення стану оточуючого середовища, що призвело до екологічної кризи. Дослідження полягали у вивченні, аналізі та оцінці факторів впливу на формування екологічного стану міста Ковеля, з метою покращення його природного середовища та умов життєдіяльності населення і стосувались вирішенню актуальних питань впливу антропогенних чинників на стан атмосферного повітря, ґрунт, поверхневі та підземні води. Доведено прямий зв’язок між інтенсивністю забруднення повітря та станом здоров’я, а також зростанням хронічних неспецифічних захворювань, зокрема, таких, як атеросклероз, хвороби серця, рак легенів тощо. Розглянуто природоохоронні заходи регіональної екологічної програми «Екологія 2016-2020» Ковельської міської Ради, впровадження яких сприятиме зниженню антропогенного впливу на довкілля міста.

The article is devoted to the analysis of present ecological problems of the Kovel city. Such phenomena as the development of the industry, the imperfection of vehicles, the tightness of construction, the irrational use of natural resources have created a deterioration of the environment leading to an ecological crisis. In addition, at the present stage the insignificant financing of environmental programs cause problems. The research was to study, to analyze and to evaluate the factors of impact on the formation of the ecological status of the Kovel city, with the aim of improving its natural environment and living conditions of the population. Moreover, the research was addressed to the pressing issues of influence of anthropogenic factors on the state of atmospheric air, soil, surface and groundwater. The direct relationship have been demonstrated between the intensity of air pollution and health status and the increase in chronic non-specific diseases, such as atherosclerosis, heart disease, lung cancer, etc. Conservation measures of the regional ecological program «Ecology 2016-2020» of Kovel City Council was considered and the implementation of program would help to reduce anthropogenic impact on the environment of the city.
