Анотація
У статті пропонується можливі шляхи вирішення проблеми відірваності вимог освітніх програм від професійної компетентності та потреб сучасного ринку праці, окреслюється один із варіантів інтеграції курсів на прикладі спеціальності «Українська мова і література». Автори розробили поетапну методику створення проекту літературно-мистецького журналу як технології кейс-методу на етапі перевірки програмних результатів, що одночасно Дозволяю враховувати специфіку спеціалізацій і
викладання англійської мови за професійним спрямуванням. Для прикладного розуміння викладених ідей пропонуються розглянути можливість поєднання результатів навчання англійської мови з дисциплінами предметної спеціалізації в межах освітньої програми академічної кваліфікації «магістр освіти», спеціалізацій «Редактор освітніх видань» і «Художня культура».
Introduction. Implementation of the policy of higher education institutions autonomy in matters of the educational process is indicated by the broad prospects for the formation of educational programmes of all specialties. The demand for modern humanitarian discourse arises not just for an interdisciplinary approach, but for the application of the latest techniques simultaneously with unification of several academic disciplines to highlight universal professional competence, skills and abilities with which a student will be able to apply in any social and cultural coordinates in the future. Aim of the Study. The research provides studying through the experiment, the possibilities of creating reintegrated educational and vocational training programe for teachers of the Ukrainian language and literature of two different specializations - “Art Culture” and “Educational Publication Editor”, combining the results of studying English with core disciplines. The use of the case method is considered to be one of the ways to achieve the goals, taking into account the peculiarities of the curriculum requirements for the level of the Ukrainian language and literature future teachers' professional competence. For this purpose the use of such a means as literary and art magazine is the basis of the experiment. Research Methods. When solving individual problems of the research at its various stages, empirical and theoretical methods were used: observation, description, classification and systematization, linguistic description method, methods of constructing a model of the publication, etc. Results. The authors developed methodology for creating a literary and art magazine as a case-study technology at the stage of testing curriculum outcomes, and at the same time it allows to take into account the peculiarities of specializations and teaching English for specific purposes. This allowed by the means of the English language to realize a narrowly professional situation that fully simulates real professional competence in a particular profession. The basis of the experiment was a form of monitoring learning outcomes, namely, a comprehensive test for both specializations. The students were divided into two groups that created a project of an electronic literary and art magazine competitive in the media market in English, carrying out professional competence in artistic, editorial activities and a foreign language. Conclusions. Developed and implemented methodology within the case-method allows a new assessment of the Ukrainian language and literature future teachers' possibilities in the modern labour market, directly bringing the expected outcomes of educational programmes to the needs of modern society, using the English language to implement a narrowly professional situation that fully simulates a real professional competence within a specific profession. Research perspectives: such innovative technology can be tested on various related specializations within many specialties.
