Оцінка рівня сприятливості умов проживання населення Волинської області

Abstract

У статті оцінено рівень сприятливості умов проживання населення Волинської області на основі соціологічного дослідження та статистичних даних. Методом анкетування у вересні-листопаді 2018 року з’ясовано рівень задоволеності життям, доходів, екологічною ситуацією респондентів Волинської області залежно від рангу адміністративно- територіальної одиниці проживання, віку та статі. Обробку анкет здійснено за допомогою методу відсоткового відношення та номінальної шкали вимірювань. Здійснено ранжування території Волинської області за рівнем сприятливості умов проживання населення за допомогою методу порівняння з середніми показниками в Україні на основі статистичних да¬них 2015 р. Об’єктом дослідження виступають 16 адміністративних районів Волинської області та міста обласного значення: Луцьк, Володимир-Волинський, Ковель, Нововолинськ.

The article assesses the level of favorable living conditions of the population of Volyn Oblast on the basis of sociological research and statistical data. The survey method applied in September-November 2018 determined the level of satisfaction of the respondents of the Volyn region with their life, income, and environmental situation, depending on the rank of the administrative- territorial unit of residence, age and sex. Questionnaires were processed using the percentage method and the nominal measurement scale. The questionnaire form of the questionnaire included 25 questions and consisted of three blocks: socio-demographic characteristics (5 questions); economic and housing-household characteristics (7 questions); health, education, culture, ecology (13 questions). 70% of respondents estimate their standard of living as average, 20 – low and 10% – high. 46.7% of the respondents receive income from UAH 4,000 to UAH 10,000, 30 % - under UAH 4,000, and only 6.6% – more than 15 000 UAH. Most of respondents only have enough income for their basic needs (40%), 10% belong to those who lack even basic needs (food, clothing, footwear, utilities). Among the most important aspects of life 32.6% of respondents noted material support, 30.6 - confidence in the future, 14.3 - the ecological situation, 12.2 -quality of medical services, 6.1 - legal protection and political freedom, and 4.1% - quality of education. Ranking of the territory of the Volyn oblast in terms of the favorable living conditions of the population was carried out by means of comparison with the average indicators in Ukraine based on 2015 statistical data. The target of the study are 16 administrative districts of Volyn oblast and cities of regional significance: Lutsk, Volodymyr-Volynsky, Kovel, Novovolynsk. Indicators of living standards in most districts of the Volyn oblast are low compared to the national average. There is every reason to attribute it to the depressed regions of Ukraine.
