Анотація
У представленій публікації висвітлено розвиток вищої педагогічної освіти в Україні на межі ХХ-ХХІ століть. Проведено огляд останніх досліджень з окресленої проблематики. Здійснено ретроспективний аналіз передумов розвитку вищої педагогічної освіти в Україні. Виокремлено глобальні та локальні тенденції розвитку вищої освіти в Україні та світі. Наведено провідні чинники, що впливають на розвиток освіти України на сучасному етапі. Проаналізовано етапи розвитку вищої педагогічної освіти в Україні, зокрема: відновлення, проміжний, становлення, євроінтеграційний.
The article is devoted to the consideration of the issue of development of higher pedagogical education in Ukraine at the turn of the XX-XXI centuries. A review of recent studies of the problem is made. A retrospective analysis of the prerequisites for the development of higher pedagogical education in Ukraine is conducted. The global and local trends in the development of higher education in Ukraine and in the world are outlined. The leading factors affecting development of Ukrainian education at the present stage are presented. The stages of development of higher pedagogical education in Ukraine, in particular: restoration, intermediate, formation, European integration, are characterized. Modern higher pedagogical education in Ukraine has gone a long way of becoming and developing. According to historical sources, the main trend at all stages of its development was practical orientation and high academic standards of teaching. The social changes that took place at the turn of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries led to a significant transformation of the educational sphere: the role of education, development of social and personal awareness of education as a value; formation and sustainable functioning and development of education as a system; improvement of content, technologies and means of educational and cognitive activity. The current stage of development of domestic higher education is characterized by an orientation towards European and world development trends, including international student mobility, the growth of the number of private higher education institutions, and the contingent of students is more diverse with a larger number of foreign students. At the current stage of development of the Ukrainian state, a number of positive changes are taking place in many areas, which requires citizens to have a new vision, personal attitude to these processes, flexibility and adaptability. After all, Ukraine's development depends to a large extent on the innovative potential of society, the ability to quickly navigate information flows, to make non-standard decisions, to bear responsibility for their consequences. One of the key areas of transformation of society and state is the sphere of education. In recent decades, Ukrainian higher education in general and pedagogical in particular, have undergone complex transformational processes related to the reforming of all levels of pedagogical activity that takes place in institutions of higher education. In the light of this, there is an urgent need to follow and analyze the whole path of these transformations in order to utilize the experience gained at the present stage.
