Апологет кривавої помсти чи апостол всепрощення (до проблеми насильства у творчості Т. Г. Шевченка)

Abstract

У статті представлено позицію автора у дискусії щодо складної для інтерпретації проблеми насильства у творчості Т. Г. Шевченка, зокрема стосовно еволюції поглядів поета на можливі методи подолання соціальної несправедливості. Для аргументації визначено підхід до дефініції поняття насильства, введено дистинкцію норм індивідуальної та соціальної етики, властиву світобаченню митця.

In the article the viewpoint of the author is represented in the discussion concerning the difficult-to-interpret problem of violence in the works of T.G. Shevchenko, in particular regarding the evolution of the poet’s views on the possible methods of struggle with social injustice. For argumentation there was specified the approach to the defining of the notion of violence, suggested the differentiation between the norms of the individual and social ethics, which is typical for the poet’s perception of the world.
