| Abstract: | У статті розглянуто вимоги до організації діяльності гувернерів в Україні у першій половині XIX століття. Виявлено, що основні вимоги зосереджувались на питаннях взаємодії домашніх наставників та вчителів з родиною, самоосвіти вчителів, визначення характеристик особистісних та професійних якостей гувернерів. Охарактеризовано діяльність домашніх наставників і вчителів. In the article the requirements for the organizationof the practice of family tutors in Ukraine in first half of the XIXth century are revealed.It was found out that the basic requirements were focused on issues of interaction between home tutors and teachers with family, self-education teacher, determine the characteristics of personal and professionalqualities of family tutors.
