Анотація
У статті автор наводить аргументи на користь уявлення про початок формування планетарної цивілізації. Виділяються історичні етапи теоретичних дискусій присвячених цій проблемі. Аналізуються фактори впливу на її становлення, найважливішим серед яких є соціоприродна глобалізація. Обґрунтовується твердження про те, що тільки зараз ми стаємо свідками формування планетарної цивілізації. Надається визначення поняття «планетарна цивілізація», як якісно нової системної цілісності людства, що виникає в наслідок конвергенції економічних, технологічних, соціальних, політичних, культурних та природних процесів у планетарному вимірі.
In the article the author defends the idea that at the beginning of the third millennium the question of the formation of a planetary civilization is topical. Discussions about the essence of this phenomenon have been conducted since the end of the XVIII century and continue till now. The period of the forcible conquest and spread of European culture, science and technology is replaced at the end of the 20th century by the process of the organic connection and development of common targets and values for humanity. Therefore, the planetary civilization is regarded as a qualitatively new systemic integrity, resulting in the merging of interconnected social, economic, technological, political and natural processes on a global scale. This process is inevitable and although we are only in the beginning of its formation, we can point out many examples of such integration. The most important factor affecting the emergence of a planetary society is social and natural globalization, and the driving force of scientific and technological progress. The problem of the correlation between global and local culture, is today at the center of philosophical reflection and now there is no need to repeat all the arguments "for" and "against." We would like to single out one important aspect for our research: the world has always been and will remain diverse, the planetary civilization can not abolish the diversity of cultural forms. Leveling the fact of multiculturalism is only capable of leading to confrontation and deepening the crisis. Global culture "is a new possible spiritual height, it must be built on a culture that exists in a fundamentally unremovable variety. It must be some other level that does not remove the previous one". The question of the methods of such a translation remains open as well. We expressed our views - this should not be a mechanical, but an organic unity. But even now we can say that the main criterion for selection should be the self-worth of life, human dignity as a pledge of humanization and preservation of civilization. The main role in this process, in our opinion, is assigned to scientific knowledge. In no way diminishing the merits of other spheres of cultural life of society, we believe that the processes occurring in modern science testify to its ability to develop regional, commercial interests, integrate various scientific disciplines, go beyond its borders and turn to the vital meaning of culture. Science is a model of a universal worldview (unified scientific standards), far from political and religious ideologies, since it is a moment of critical self-reflection. These and other factors contribute to the fact that it is in scientific creativity that we seek the foundations of valueoriented models of a future civilization.
