Анотація
Стаття присвячена ролі методу проектів у позааудиторній роботі студентів нефілологічних спеціальностей. Розмежовано поняття «метод», «проект», «проектування», «метод проектів», «проектна діяльність», «навчальний проект». Визначено типологію та етапи роботи над проектом. Уточнено вимоги до критеріїв готовності студентського проекту. Зосереджено увагу на рейтинговій шкалі оцінювання проектної роботи студента. З’ясовано етапи проведення проектної методики. Систематизовано типи проектів. Сформовані вимоги до студентських творчих робіт. Обґрунтовано, що найбільш вдалим видом проекту для вивчення іноземних мов студентами нефілологічних спеціальностей є проект з урахуванням застосування роботи з літературою.
The article is devoted to the role of the method of projects in extracurricular work of students of unphilological specialities. The concepts «method», «project», «projection», «method of projects», «project activity», «educational project» are differentiated in the article. The typology and stages of a project are defined. The requirements to the student project readiness’s criteria are clarified. It’s focused attention on the rating scale of the estimation of a student’s project work. The types of projects are systematized. Requirements are set forth to student’s project work. It is reasonable that the most successful type of a project for the study of foreign languages by the students of unphilological specialities is a project with an application of work with literature. It is given different opinions of famous methodologists, scientists concerning students’ extracurricular work, a problem of communication as the social-psychological phenomenon, a problem of speech competence forming, method of projects as a technology, new approaches to the teaching of foreign languages and so on. In general the method of projects allows to develop communication skills, creative thinking. It helps to solve different communicative problems. It designs a student on the success’s situation, which can further be a starting point of informed professional development, self-realization and self-education. It promotes initiative, organizational skills, self-reliance. Thus, taking into account the diversity of views and approaches to understanding the meaning of the method of projects we are able to argue that currently in Ukrainian higher education the usage of the method of projects becomes more and more actual because of its effectiveness and practical importance in the future professional’s preparation who has a high level of social and professional adaptation in the society.
