Шляхи вдосконалення професійної підготовки логопедів в Україні (1960-ті рр.)

Анотація
Розглянуто еволюційні процеси, що відбувалися в післядипломній освіті логопедів в Україні в другій половині 1960-х рр. Здійснено аналіз архівних документів, у яких відображені важливі урядові рішення з питань надання логопедичної допомоги дітям з мовленнєвими порушеннями. Показано динаміку розширення мережі логопедичних пунктів у регіонах України. Охарактеризовано основні форми післядипломної освіти логопедів, серед яких були курси підвищення кваліфікації, республіканські й міжобласні науково-практичні конференції, семінари-практикуми, наукові сесії, педагогічні читання. Визначено, що зміст післядипломної освіти логопедів удосконалювався введенням додаткових медичних дисциплін і збільшенням навчального часу на практичні заняття в спеціальних школах. Показано організаторську роботу Республіканського навчально-методичного кабінету спеціальних шкіл, методичну допомогу Науково-дослідного інституту педагогіки УРСР, практичну діяльність дефектологічного факультету Київського державного педагогічного інституту імені О. М. Горького.
Evolutionary processes taking place in the postgraduate education of speech therapists in Ukraine in the second half of the 1960s were considered. The analysis of the archivel documents, which reflect the important government decisions on the provision of speech therapy to help children with speech disorders, was made. The statistics that proves accuracy and timeliness of taken decisions was given. Among the organizational arrangements a special place took the following: creation of the speech therapy points in preschools and comprehensive schools; introduction of additional rates of speech therapists in special educational institutions; expanding the network of special boarding schools for children with severe speech disorders; increasing of a governmental order to the defectological faculty in the preparation of speech therapists; proper organization of professional training for working speech therapists. The dynamics of speech therapy point network expansion in all regions of Ukraine is demonstrated. The main forms of postgraduate education of speech therapists, including advanced training courses and interregional and republican theoretical and practical conferences, workshops, scientific sessions, pedagogic reading are described. At the regional and national levels the increase of professional training systematically covers the majority of speech therapists of special and general educational institutions. It is shown that the content of postgraduate education of speech therapists was complemented with the medical disciplines. This was dictated by the fact that many children with severe speech disorders demanded to be provided with medical care. Much attention was paid to the practical classes in special schools, especially in matters of methodology for conducting speech therapy sessions. Covered organizational work of the Republican educational methodological cabinet of special schools, methodological help of speech therapy researchers from department of the Research Institute of Pedagogy of the USSR, active and productive activity of teachers from defectological Department of Kiev State Pedagogical Institute named after A. M. Gorky in the training and professional development of speech therapists. The positive results and shortcomings in their work were revealed.
