Особливості проведення практичних занять із медичної та біологічної фізики під час дистанційного навчання

Abstract

У статті визначено проблемні сторони під час повного дистанційного навчання під час проведення практичних занять із медичної та біологічної фізики для студентів-медиків першого курсу, а також можливі шляхи їх вирішення. Серед основних проблемних напрямів зазначено відсутність якісного й доступного відеозв’язку між студентами та викладачем; дефіцит навчальних матеріалів, адаптованих під онлайн-навчання; можливість необ’єктивного оцінювання знань, умінь, навичок студентів; неефективна взаємодія студентів із викладачем. Розглянуто можливі шляхи мінімізації розриву між онлайн- та офлайн-навчанням щодо якості досягнення навчальних цілей.

The global quarantine of 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic created a forced transition of education institutions to distance learning, including medical higher schools. The new conditions required the adaptation of all participants of the learning process to online learning and the solution of a number of new organizational issues. The aim of the study is to identify the problematic aspects of conducting practical classes in medical and biological physics for the first-year medical students during the period of full distance learning, as well as possible ways to solve them. The study was conducted during 2020 on the basis of National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsa at the department of biophysics, medical equipment and informatics. Research methods, such as observation, student interviews, exchange of experiences between teachers, analysis, synthesis, deduction, induction, comparison, generalization, helped to achieve the purpose. Among the main problem areas are the lack of quality and affordable video communication between students and a teacher; shortage of educational materials adapted for online learning; the possibility of biased assessment of students’ knowledge and skills; inefficient interaction of the students with the teacher. In general, it is concluded that the obtained effectiveness of distance learning is lower than face-to-face learning and depends on many external and internal factors. However, due to the formed motivation, creative approach, quality training, active communication and conscientious attitude of students and teachers to their responsibilities, the difference between online and offline learning can be minimized.
