Особливості формування соціальної компетентності дітей старшого дошкільного віку

Abstract

У статті здійснено теоретичний аналіз наукових підходів до визначення поняття «компетентність»; висвітлено підходи до тлумачення конструкту «соціальна компетентність» та виявлення його компонентів; сформульовано термін «соціалізація»; встановлено пріоритетні характеристики процесу соціалізації дітей старшого дошкільного віку та основні відмінності соціалізації дитини та дорослого; виділено педагогічні умови, необхідні для формування у старшого дошкільника певного рівня соціальної компетентності.

In the article a theoretical analysis of scientific approaches to the definition of the concept of “competence” is conducted; the approaches to interpretation of the construct of “social competence” and identification of its components are revealed; the term “socialization” is formulated; the priority characteristics of the process of socialization of children of the senior preschool age and the main differences between socialization of the child and the adult are established; the pedagogical conditions necessary for the formation of a certain level of social competence in a senior preschool child are outlined.
