Формування медіакомпетентності майбутнього вчителя-словесника в курсі «Методика навчання української мови»

Abstract

У статті акцентовано увагу на актуальності проблеми формування медіакомпетентності як складової професійно-методичної компетентності вчителів-словесників. Автор здійснив огляд наукових праць щодо поняття «медіакомпетентність». На прикладі дисципліни «Методика навчання української мови» окреслено окремі аспекти формування медіакомпетентності вчителя-словесника. Зроблено спробу показати доцільність використання системи завдання з метою формування медіакомпетентності під час вивчення дисципліни «Методика навчання української мови».

The purpose of the article is to demonstrate the peculiarities of the formation of media competence of the students of the pedagogical institutions of higher education on the example of the discipline “Methods of teaching the Ukrainian language”. Achieving the goal involved the use of a number of methods: theoretical – general scientific (analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, systematization) and specifically scientific (method of terminological analysis, which revealed the essence of key concepts of scientific research; method of structural-logical analysis aimed at disclosing media competence component of professional and methodological competence of teachers-philologists). On the basis of the scientific sources analysis and the study of pedagogical experience we come to the following conclusions: provided a creative approach to the application of tasks with the aim to form media competence will not only diversify learning, but will also be a means to form and develop highly qualified education professionals ready to perceive and evaluate information. The methodological base of the system of tasks should contain a wide range of innovative forms, methods, tools, methods of educational activities and cooperation with students: polemics, discussion groups, project activities (creation of a media product), etc. An important factor for the choice of methods, techniques, teaching aids is the methodological competence of the teacher-philologist on the implementation of the media component of the educational process, which is the topic of the next publication. We see the prospects for further research in comparing media literacy curricula of Ukrainian institutions of higher pedagogical education with foreign pedagogical universities in order to determine the innovative potential of foreign experience for its implementation in Ukraine.
