| Abstract: | Загальна площа лісових ділянок, що належать до лісового фонду України – 10,4 млн га, в тому числі вкриті лісовою рослинністю 9,6 млн га. Лісистість України становить 15,9%. Загальна площа лісів лісового фонду Сумської області складає 460,9 тис. га, в тому числі покрито лісом 447,2 тис. га, а лісистість території області – 17,8% (оптимальна лісистість території в межах лісостепу – 18%, лісова зона – 32%). Слід зазначити, що лісистість території сильно відрізняється в межах природних зон області. The total area of forest plots belonging to the forest fund of Ukraine is 10.4 million hectares, including 9.6 million hectares covered with forest vegetation. The forest cover of Ukraine is 15.9%. The total forest area of the forest fund of Sumy region is 460.9 thousand hectares, including 447.2 thousand hectares of forest, and the forest area of the region - 17.8% (optimal forest area within the forest-steppe - 18%, forest zone - 32%). It should be noted that the forest cover of the territory varies greatly within the natural areas of the region. |
