У статті проаналізовано основи професійної підготовки бакалаврів та магістрів
фізичної терапії (фізичної реабілітації) у Тартуському університеті (Tartu Ülikooli) (Естонія).
Здійснено аналіз навчальних програм підготовки бакалаврів та магістрів фізичної терапії
(фізичної реабілітації) у Тартуському університеті. Висвітлено перспективи
працевлаштування майбутніх фахівців фізичної терапії у Естонії.
The article analyzes the curriculum of training of Bachelors and Masters of Physical Therapy (physical rehabilitation) in the University of Tartu. In the researching process it was founded that the curriculum of training of physical therapist is designed for 3 years (180 ECTS) and consists of two compulsory basic modules (48 ECTS), two optional modules (48 ECTS), two compulsory modules in specialty (48 ECTS), module of facultative courses (12 ECTS), additional module subjects (12 ECTS) and Bachelor work (12 ECTS). Graduates of this program in Estonia are awarded professional qualification "Physiotherapist ІІІ degree". The content of the curriculum of training "Master of Physiotherapy" of the University of Tartu consists from studying secondary (24 ECTS) and special subjects (42 ECTS), physical therapy practice (18 ECTS), facultative subjects (6 ECTS) and the preparation of the Master dissertation. (30 ECTS). Graduation of magistracy in the specialty of physiotherapy and experience in physiotherapy at least 3 years creates the prerequisites for awarding the professional qualification "Physiotherapist IV degree". The prerequisites for awarding the professional qualification "Physiotherapist V degree" is the presence of professional qualification "Physiotherapist IV degree" advanced training in the specialty, not less than 10 years of experience in the industry of physical therapy, by the presence of two professional articles in the journal. Physiotherapists in Estonia are employed in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centres and health centres, rehabilitation centres for people with disabilities and aids in homes for the elderly and care, sporting clubs, schools for children with special needs, in scientific laboratories, and visit patients at home.
